Premiere - after the presentation of a micro camper concept vehicle at the Caravan Salon exhibition in August 2023, Bürstner has now revealed a second HABITON concept vehicle at the “Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs” in Paris, now with a long wheelbase, a pop-top roof, a kitchen and even more camping and “wohnfühlen” home from home features.

Paris Villepinte. In record time, Bürstner surprised with a second HABITON concept vehicle, this time round with a long wheelbase (Habiton L2). With its numerous standard camping and Bürstner “wohnfühlen” home away from home feel features, the vehicle is therefore equal to a classic urban camper. Again, this concept is aimed at new buyer groups such as young singles, couples and families with an urban lifestyle.

The longer vehicle is equipped with a rearwards-opening pop-top roof, rather than an inflatable tent like the short version. “Especially for families with children, it is important that there is no spatial division between the parents and the children inside the vehicle,” says product manager Carolin Gebhardt. “The two additional berths in the roof are therefore accessible from the inside.”

The pull-out kitchen is located in the rear and equipped with an induction hob, a sink with tap, storage facilities and a cutlery drawer. There is also an electric cool box. The kitchen module and the cool box on the opposite site are covered by furniture elements that form an additional seat when camping.

“The long wheelbase is also perfect for the new approach to camping, as the vehicle is suitable for the urban everyday life of our style-conscious new target group yet offers flexibility and freedom,” says Bürstner CEO Jens Kromer with pride. "The Habiton L2 is a fantastic vehicle with many clever modular ‘wohnfühlen’ home from home feel solutions for everyday use and touring. Even adults can comfortably stand upright or get changed inside the pop-top roof.”

Based on the popular Renault Kangoo, this concept vehicle also impresses with a high level of suitability for everyday use and a well-thought-out modular concept. The vehicle fits into any multi-storey car park designed for vehicles up to 2m high, but also makes no compromises when it comes to camping comfort, and follows the latest design trends.

The contemporary yellow colour in combination with flexible features such as an inflatable bed in order to create a sleeping area that is as large as possible in this vehicle class and a multifunctional rear blackout blind that can also be used as a bag make the Habiton L2 a trendsetter. The lounge tent and the dimmable Home Light® emphasise the trendy and modular character of this unique micro camper.

Both HABITON BY BÜRSTNER concept vehicles can be experienced live at the Bürstner stand C15 in Hall 5A at the Véhicules de Loisirs Salon in Paris Villepinte from 7 to 15 October 2023.
